I’ve Tried That Blog Review
I received a comment about doing reviews on lesser known blogs than that of the ones that are on Technortati’s top 100. I thought that would be a great idea since I know my blog is nowhere near the top 100 on Technorati or any other list for that matter.
So for this week, I found the I’ve Tried That blog by accident. Since making money online is one of my interests, I do a ton of research on the matter. Because of that, I am constantly barraged by scam sites, squeeze pages, and all the great things that go along with the “make money online” websites.

Bloglines Review
There are a couple of reasons I am going to to cop-out today. The first - it is late, the second - I am tired, the third - I found a site that did a review the way I want to do my reviews. I found an excellent review of the Bloglines site here. This is a cool site and I will definitely be taking advantage of it’s functionality once I get “up to par” on my reviews.
I received a comment that said I shouldn’t necessarily focus on already popular sites and that actually sounds like a great idea. If I review less popular sites, there is more of a likelihood of exchanging links and increasing traffic to both my blog and theirs.
So what blog is next? You will just have to stay tuned and find out - Monday.
I Can Has Cheez Burger Blog Review
Today’s blog review is proof positive that good grammar and spelling are not necessary for a succesful blog. Coming in on Technorati’s top 100 at ranked at number 64 for number of fans and number 9 by authority is I Can Has Cheez Burger. Yes, really, that is the name, and no, that is not a mispelling. Not a mispelling you say? No, this is part of what is called LOLSPEAK…but more on that later.

Instapundit Blog Review
Today’s blog review is from Technorati’s top 100 (by number of fans) is the Instapundit.com ranked at number 67. The blog is all about the thoughts of law professor Glenn Reynolds, as well as links to articles that he finds interesting. In Glenn Reynolds About page, he says “…my chief interest is in the intersection between advanced technologies and individual liberty.” The blog is clearly conservative and seems to be aimed at politics in general. Oh boy, is this a time filled with fodder for folks on both sides of the political spectrum.
37 Signals Blog Review
Today’s random blog from Technorati’s top 100 (by number of fans) is the 37 Signals ranked at number 63. The blog is described as follows on the blog itself:
This is Signal vs. Noise, a weblog by 37signals about design, business, experience, simplicity, the web, culture, and more. Established 1999 in Chicago. Visit the Product Blog for more information on our products.
This blog is clearly dedicated to the promotion of 37 Signals line of software products with bits and pieces from the blogosphere about online business sprinkled in for interest. (Check out the blog - these guys were even written up in Wired Magazine).
Online Marketing Blog Review
Today’s random blog from Technorati’s top 100 (by number of fans) is the Online Marketing Blog coming in at number 61. The blog is described as follows:
“Online Marketing Blog offers news, resources and interviews on search marketing, social media and online public relations with posts by Lee Odden, CEO of TopRank.”
The about page makes it clear that Online Marketing Blog is a serious about its own business and is devoted to marketing businesses online. Although I am new to blogging reviews, I am very familiar with what the different types of blogs are dedicated to. The vast majority are personal, but this one is definitely a business blog and is definitely aimed at promoting TopRank Online Marketing - the business end that surely was the impetus for the blog.

Media Production Blog Review
My start of blog reviews was really focused on learning something new about something that I really knew nothing about. I decided to randomly choose a block of Technorati top 100 blogs on Friday, February 29th for my first set of 14 blog reviews. What I really want to do is see what others who are successful at blogging are doing and what kind of ideas it can spark for me and my blog.
MY THOUGHTS
At number 62 (ranked by number of fans) on Technorati’s Top 100 is Media Production Blog

Eureeka!
I finally decided what this blog is going to be dedicated to. After I wrote that post about my experience building a blog on WordPress, I bored myself. Instead, I will be reviewing other blogs - 3 a week to be exact. My purpose will be to give general content review or tidbits of information that I found particularly useful or interesting, and what kind of ideas it generated for my blog, or even just life in general. My first review post will be Monday.
Blogoshpere Evolution
I decided that I was going to start a blog. This was to broaden my horizons and eventually use the blog as a jumping off point to start an online marketing site to make some money. So many others have done, so why not me? If you read my previous post, you know that I bought a domain name and have directed it to my blog. It is www.blogoshpere.com - read the previous post for an explanation behind the name. I researched for a few days before deciding

What to write about?
The key to a good blog that brings in traffic is obviously content. Not just any content mind you, but content that is interesting to both the blogger and the reader. If the blogger is not that interested, it will eventually show, apathy will set in on the part of the blogger and readership will fall off. At this point, I wish I just had some readership - in time, in time.
